I'm not going to answer this as a philosophical question! Instead, I'll give you a little background information on myself and why I'm a member of this community.

My name is Lucas Labern. I am 18 years old and I live on the South Coast of England in a town called Seaford.

My country is where Shakespeare, Dickens, and many of the greatest writers of all time have originated. Too much has creative writing and classic literature fallen into dusty librarian's hands. Too many times has "Dan Brown" been said to me, only for me to look at people in disgust.

I'm here to try and revive these classics, and I want to spend my life writing about these classic themes and issues in a 21st Century point of view. Knowing all we know. That's a big reason why I'm an atheist. Mixing Science with wonder. The human condition alongside drugs. Still never escaping death and still falling in love.

I want to captivate audiences and remind people of what our society has been built on. Written and oral communication... Stories. Fables. Tales. Lessons. Ruminations. Philosophies.

So please, feel free to read everything you see here, criticise the works as individual pieces, and let me know what you like and dislike about each one. I believe in self-improvement and only you can help me change my works for the better.
